Central Texas Flooding Remembrance

Residents may have noticed some neighborhood trees with green ribbons or lights. These are a show of solidarity with and remembrance of the recent victims of the Central Texas flooding. The significance is that green was the official color of Camp Mystic girls camp, which suffered severe losses in the catastrophe.

Simple green plastic tablecloths are available at local grocery stores for a nominal fee and is one way to show your support, along with monetary contributions to GoFundMe, Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, Salvation Army, and other charitable organizations. Our thoughts and prayers are with the surviving families.
