Director Changes and Upcoming Board Meetings

The Highland Meadows HOA Board of Directors would like to welcome the newest member of the Board, Jessica Gettig, who was elected as a Director at the annual meeting in October. Jessica will also be the chair of the Social Committee and has already enlisted new Social Committee members Morgan Cummings and Meredith Dolan to assist in a large scale of events to benefit the neighborhood. I trust everyone will see the increased social calendar with the same appreciation as the Board, and the committee welcomes any other neighbor volunteers that want to be involved.

The Board would also like to extend a very heartfelt thanks and gratitude to outgoing Director MaryAnn Nicholson. MaryAnn served as the President of the Board for several years, authored the recurring HOA newsletter, and many other volunteer roles for the Board, and now wants to reduce her roles to assisting the other committees. MaryAnn has, however, accepted the appointment to the Chair of the Architectural Control Committee. She also previously served as the Secretary, Social Committee member, Curb Appeal Chair. If you see MaryAnn around the neighborhood, please thank her for all the volunteer work she has done and continues to do for our HOA.

The Board would also like to thank and express our sincere gratitude to Kourtney Miller-Spilker, the outgoing Chair of the ACC. Kourtney has significant family commitments and is unavailable to attend to the duties of the ACC Chair. Kourtney was a great asset of the ACC and she will be missed as well.

The following dates are for the HOA Board of Directors meetings to be held in 2023, and separate announcements will be made prior to each event.

October 16, 2023 (Annual Meeting)
November 13, 2023

All of the meetings, except the Annual Meeting and the January 16 meeting, will be held at Market Street in Colleyville, beginning at 7:00 pm with snacks and beverages being available at 6:30 pm. The Annual Meeting with elections for the Board of Directors will be held at the Colleyville Center. All homeowners are welcomed and encouraged to attend every meeting. The January 16 meeting will be hosted at the residence of Director Kim Wallace, and more details will follow.

Your Board welcomes and encourages all HOA homeowners to provide us feedback, both positive and constructive, so that we may better serve our neighbors and the interests of this HOA.
